Opulent Miami is a dot com property (OpulentMia.com) owned and operated by B. Green Media, Marketing & Management. “B. Green Media” is used interchangeably with “B. Green Media, Marketing & Management” and Opulent Miami is a dba determination derived from the dot com site.
The terms and conditions listed here constitute Opulent Miami’s service contract agreement between the company and a client. As it has been subject to considerable scrutiny and oversight the terms and conditions laid out here supersede any other agreement, made verbally or in writing. If certain terms are determined to be invalid or unenforceable, this has no bearing on the remainder of the document, where the full force of all other provisions remain in effect.
Rental Requirements
A driver must meet the following requirements in order to rent a car from Opulent Miami;
- Driver must be in possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Driver must be 25 years of age, or older for particular cars.
- Driver must have access to a comprehensive coverage of automotive insurance
- Driver must provide a security deposit, the amount of the deposit will vary depending on the car and the age of the driver.
- Driver must accept the terms and conditions, by signing their agreement to all of its provisions on the rental agreement.
Cancellations or Abandonment
In the event of a cancellation by the client, the reservation deposit is nonrefundable, In certain cases, should a cancellation be made within 72 hours of the scheduled delivery time, 50% of the booking fee is nonrefundable. A cancellation made within 2 business days of the scheduled delivery time the entire fee is non-refundable.
Rental Charges
Opulent Miami Cars accepts payment from Visa, Mastercard or AMEX. All Credit cards are processed immediately upon booking a car. Rental charges are determined based on the combination of the following conditions.
- The time duration of the rental
- Applicable rental charge (including tax) of daily, weekly or monthly rates
- Miscellaneous charges, such as insurance, additional mileage, child seats, etc.
- Mileage rates
- Re-Fueling. All vehicles are provided to clients with a full tank of premium petroleum. In the unusual circumstance that the car does not have a full tank, the level of fuel will be recorded on the rental agreement. The vehicle needs to be returned at a full tank, if not the client is subject to a per gallon fee that may be as high as 50% above local market price.
Additional Drivers
Clients are permitted to add additional drivers to the rental agreement for an extra charge. The additional drivers need to meet all the rental requirements stated above.
Amended Charges
Opulent Miami Cars reserves the right to a 7 business day inspection period which is calculated from the time the car is returned. This time period will allow for a thorough inspection of the car for any mechanical and body damage, whereby any noted damage or contract violations (such as additional fuel costs, late return etc) will be billed to you.
Traffic and Parking Infringements
The client is responsible for the payment of any traffic fines or parking violations issued while the client was responsible for the car. Opulent Miami is entitled to a 90 calendar day time duration starting from the time in which the car was returned to notify the client of such charges and the associated details.
Reporting an Accident
Clients are obligated to first report any accidents to the police and obtain a police report. At the time of the accident the client also needs to obtain the name, address, license plate number insurance provider and their policy number of the other car’s driver. As soon as possible thereafter, the clients need to present all of these details and reports to the rental agent.
Damages
The client is responsible for any damages to the car throughout the term of the car rental engagement, irrespective of whether someone else is at fault or the cause has not been identified. The client therefore is fully responsible for the cost of repair up to the value of the security deposit. The client thereby agrees to reimburse Opulent Miami for all damage to the car that occurred during the term of the car rental engagement. Acknowledgement and responsibility of this must to be signed off in the rental agreement. In the absence of any damage, loss, or additional charges, the deposit shall be returned in full to the client.
Car Rental Extension
A car rental extension is available to clients who wish to extend the duration of their rental longer than what is specified in the car rental agreement. In this circumstance Opulent Miami needs to be contacted so that the extension can be approved, the rental agreement amended and have the additional payment processed. Failure to comply with this process will incur a late penalty fee, starting from the time of the original return date specified in the rental agreement.
Car Delivery and Pick-Up
To enhance the driving experience of our clients Opulent Miami will deliver any of our car’s to a destination of your request, be it a hotel, the airport or an office building. A delivery fee may apply for locations beyond a certain distance specified by the rental agent.
Rental Restrictions
To ensure the enjoyment of future drivers, a certain standard of conduct is required by clients whilst driving a rental car. Activities forbidden while in the car include smoking, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, off road travel, rigorous driving, drag racing, race track driving and any type of illegal driving. All such forms of conduct are considered to be a contract violation and will incur an additional fee that will be charged to the client.
